Engineering decisions
Section titled “Engineering decisions”Decision entries compare approaches that can each be valid in the right context.
They should identify the problem, important decision factors, relevant options, trade-offs, failure modes, and the conditions that favor each option.
A decision entry must not reduce a contextual engineering choice to a universal rule.
